Stop Waiting on Your Oven to Heat Up
Let’s be honest: old ovens can be a nightmare. You turn them on, go grab a coffee, come back, and they’re still struggling to hit the right temperature. Or worse, you get those annoying cold spots where half your product is cooked and the other half is barely warm. If your current heating elements just can’t keep up with your pace, you don’t necessarily need a new machine. You just need better tubes. Switching to short-wave infrared (SWIR) quartz tubes is the fastest way to wake up a sluggish oven.
Why this actually works
Most old-school coils just heat the air around the food. It’s slow. Infrared is different. It sends radiant energy straight into the material. Think of it like the sun on your skin on a July afternoon—you feel the heat instantly, even if there’s a breeze. By tweaking the wattage and voltage to fit your power supply, we can pack more heat into every inch of that tube. You’ll hit your target temps in seconds.**Seconds.**Not minutes.
Built for your specific machine
We don’t do “off-the-shelf” here because, frankly, that rarely works. You tell us the length and the voltage, and we build the tube to fit. Maybe you need a specific wattage so you don’t keep tripping the breakers in your shop. Maybe you’ve got a tiny footprint and need a specific diameter. We’ll figure it out. One thing to watch out for: the connectors. This is where things usually get messy. We use standard R7s and SK15 bases so they should just drop right in. But if your sockets look burnt or charred, do yourself a favor and rewire them. A high-wattage tube pulls more current, and you don’t want to risk a meltdown.
The trade-off
Replacing an old element with a high-output IR tube is a cheat code for extending the life of your gear. It’s way cheaper than dropping thousands on a brand-new industrial oven. Just a heads-up, though: more heat means more stress on the oven’s frame. If you crank the wattage way up, the outside of the machine is going to get hot. Just double-check your vents and insulation so you aren’t accidentally turning your workspace into a sauna.
