We kept the electrical load exactly where Sidel intended so you don’t have to worry about tripping your power supplies. Plus, we’ve focused the shortwave IR output to hit the preform wall directly. It stops the heat from leaking into the machine frame, which is basically just wasting money. No fuss installation We used high-purity quartz glass because, let’s be honest, nobody likes replacing lamps every few weeks. The connectors are a perfect match—down to the millimeter. You pull the old one out, slide ours in, and you’re done. No messing with reflectors. No rewiring sockets. It’s as simple as that. We even added a specific coating to the quartz to help you control how deep the heat actually penetrates the plastic. Real talk from the shop floor Now, a quick heads-up. These lamps put out a lot of heat. Even if the lamp is perfect, it’ll fail if your oven’s cooling fans are clogged with dust. If the air can’t move, your socket connectors will cook. While you’re swapping them out, do yourself a favor: check the tension on your R7s sockets. If the contacts are loose, you’ll get arcing. Tight contacts mean the lamps last longer and you don’t have to deal with those midnight emergency stops on the line.
